by admin

PORDENONE. Pordenone football has entrusted the technical leadership of the first team to Mr. Massimo Rastelli. The new neroverde coach – reads a press release from the club – has signed a two-year contract, expiring in June 2023.

Rastelli, originally from Torre del Greco, took over from Spal last season, finishing the Serie B championship in seventh place, on equal points with Brescia and Chievo.

In his curriculum the vintages at the helm of Cagliari stand out (victory of B 2016/2017 and brilliant salvation the following year in A), of Avellino (three years with promotion in B and playoff semifinal) and of Cremonese (always in B).

At the beginning of his career, Mr. Rastelli coached Juve Stabia, Brindisi and Portosummaga.
As a footballer, Rastelli wore the shirts, in particular, of Lucchese, Piacenza, Avellino and Naples.

His deputy Dario Rossi and goalkeeper coach Davide Dei also arrive in Pordenone.
