IVREA. The world of Ivrea rugby is asking for answers from the municipal administration. The company, which involves hundreds of athletes, has given a lot to do even in the middle of the pandemic, but certainties are needed for the management of the sports facility and could even migrate elsewhere.
With the improvement of the Covid situation, sport is also seeing the light. The intention is to lay the foundations for a future that hopefully brighter: “This year we are all convinced that we have done a great job not only sporting but also and above all social, we are proud – says Franco Rosso president of Ivrea rugby. club – to have maintained the activity for almost the whole season, except in the moments of closure from the red zone, reassured by the responses received from our children, parents and the whole company, so that now we are also ready for the competitive phase of the end of the season . Now we want to finish in the best possible way by extending all activities until the end of June and planning for next year ».

As a society we really do our best and those who come to San Giovanni can realize it, unfortunately we cannot do everything on our own, there are important interventions that we have repeatedly requested from the Municipality for some time but on which we have not had any signal. We also have investment opportunities thanks to the calls that our Federation and Coni propose but the Administration is silent. In August the concession for the management of the plant expires and, to date, we have no signal from the Municipality. Of course it would not be a good prospect for us to leave San Giovanni, but in any case we will find a solution. In the surroundings, many sports realities are in crisis or disappeared and facilities available in neighboring countries are there and we are evaluating all the possibilities ».
