On June 12, Beijing time, the Japan Basketball Association announced the 24-man training list for the Japanese men’s basketball team to prepare for the Asian Cup. Players such as Yuta Watanabe and Yuda Baba were selected.
Yuta Watanabe’s contract with the Raptors ends this season, and there is no news of an extension. Wizards player Rei Hachimura is not on the list.
In the list, there are also players familiar to fans such as Machang Xiongda, Tonaga Qisheng, Fujian Yongshu, Zhang Bentianjie, etc. The height of the whole team is 206cm, and the average height is 192cm.
The 2022 Men’s Basketball Asian Cup will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from July 12 to 24, 2022.
