Beijing time on January 12th news, reports from the US media said that after today’s shooting practice, Warriors coach Steve Kerr talked about Klay Thompson’s appearance schedule for the next game in an interview.
Thompson made his comeback in Monday’s home game against the Cavaliers, in which he played less than 20 minutes and scored 17 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 block on 7-of-18 shooting.
Starting today, the Warriors start their 4 consecutive road trips, and the first game will be the Grizzlies. Kerr said that Thompson will play with the Grizzlies, and the playing time will be consistent with the return game.
According to the schedule, the Warriors will meet back-to-back on Friday and Saturday against the Bucks and Bulls, respectively. “Klay (Thompson) will only play one of those games,” Kerr said. “Which game will be played, it’s not yet determined.”
On the other hand, Kerr revealed that Draymond Green is still in the Bay Area to treat a calf injury. “Dream may or may not come back later on this road trip,” Kerr said. “It all depends on his recovery.”
Because of a calf injury, Dream Chasing played a symbolic seven seconds against the Cavaliers on Monday in order to be with the returning Thompson.
The Warriors are currently 30-9, leading the Western Conference.Return to Sohu, see more
