L84 Volpiano redeems himself with the boys The Under 17 team becomes Italian champion

The youth team wins the Italian title by beating Marconi Roma in Ancona The bitterness remains for the relegation of the first team to A2, now the future is planned

BRANDING

Great party last Thursday, June 30 at Pala Brandizzo with the Under 17 formation of the L84 Volpiano of 5-a-side football that showed the fans the cup won in the national final won 5-3 in Ancona against the Marconi Roma formation.

THE BIG COMPANY

The team coached by the coach Rocco De Felice after winning the regional championship with full merit, scoring twelve victories in as many games, entered the final four in group A by right, where it then passed in the order away to Genoa the Cdm futsal Genoa with a clear 7-0, then 5-2, always away from home in Sesto San Giovanni in Lombardy the Selecao Libertas soccer and finally at home the Sardinians of Monastir 12-6.

Last Tuesday, 28 June then, in the national semifinal L84 overcame Napoli 5-1, winning the national final on Wednesday 29, won as mentioned at 5-3 against Marconi Roma in Ancona.

THE OTHER FORMATIONS

A very prestigious milestone, that of the title of Italian under-17 5-a-side football champions, which the L84 won only with the under-17 team, given that the other under-17s, 15 and 19 stopped at the regional title, while the women’s team was promoted to A2. A promotion, the one that took place in the women’s field, which however acts as a counterbalance to the first team, which from Serie A, is relegated to A2. The manager Andrea Carinci talks about it: «Unfortunately we weren’t able to keep the Serie A as we all would have liked and next year we will start again from the A2 series. As for the squad, we are evaluating the various possibilities to set up a team that is as competitive as possible and what is already certain is that in the 2022/2023 season we will no longer be able to count on figures such as, for example, the side Jonas Pinto and Andy Dragone, as well as the forwards Cabeca Anderson Carvalho Dos Santos, Fabio Poletto and Cesar Turello », explains Carinci».

A positive season, however, especially for the victory of the national championship by the under 17 team, as Carinci further explains: «The boys did something unique, extraordinary, against very strong opponents – comments Carinci -. They are the team that has managed to go higher this season and we are all very satisfied. A round of applause also to the other under players, protagonists in the regional phase and unfortunately not doing very well in the national one, but there is still room for growth on the part of everyone. Now we celebrate the under 17 and we will start planning the next season of the first team in A2. In the next few days – Carinci explains – there may already be some news regarding the squad, we want to choose well the purchases to be made and this phase of the season is very important ». The L84 with the conquest of the national championship by the under 17 has therefore an increasingly rosy future and will immediately return to the glories of the past. –
