Once the euphoria for the well-deserved transition to women’s B1, which took place on Saturday 26 June after beating Belluno 3-0 in the final at home, the Volpianese is already ready to dive into the next season and in these hours the management is working to find to set up a competitive roster to be delivered to confirmed coach Stefano Andreotti.

In the next season, 2021/2022, in fact, the opposite Rinaldi and the Pesce gang will no longer be part of the Volpianese, who have decided to quit volleyball, while the other band Claudia Andreotti, should drop the category and play in series. The confirmations in the Gialloblu home instead bring the signature of Ivaldi to the dribble, Oliveri free and Neffati in the center, but the situation is destined to be more defined already in the next few weeks, as coach Andreotti explains: “We are working hard to set up again next year a team that is able to compete in B1, a category never made by the Volpianese and much more difficult than B2 – says Andreotti -. Given the importance of the moment, we want to ponder every decision we make in the best possible way: this is a very delicate phase, in which it is essential to be able to read very well the opportunities that the market offers ».
Coach Andreotti with his mind already goes to next season: «We will be the last to arrive in a category that we have never faced – commented Andreotti -. In two years we have made the double jump going from C to B2 and now from B2 to B1, but in the latter it will be much more difficult to hit the seasonal goal, that is a quiet salvation, because the level will rise considerably especially in intensity and technique. We will have to maintain the humility that distinguishes us and play every match with great concentration and determination, without making too many calculations ». The first purchases at Volpianese should be made official in the next few days. –
