The top executives Ulisse Trezzi (Limana) and Claudio Sella (Cavarzano) and their collaborators officially presented to the press the salient points of the operation, which among other things, in part already knew each other through indiscretions.
It is not a matter of a merger, it should be emphasized, as the respective companies keep their freshmen and will develop their respective youth sector up to the provincial Juniores category. So on the one hand we will always have the Asd Cavarzano Oltrardo, which adds Limana to the historical name, becoming officially Asd Cavarzano Oltrardo – Limana. Ditto to the other, with Asd Calcio Limana – Cavarzano. Strengths are simply put together so that there is only one first team able to compete between Promotion and Excellence, which is the desired category to be reached within a few years following a very specific path. No crazy expenses and God forbid, given the numerous difficulties caused by the pandemic.
COMPANY AND STAFF
The two presidents Trezzi and Sella will make up the board of the Limana Cavarzano Union, flanked by their respective deputies Daniele Bianchi and Andrea Fontana and by the secretary Ugo Broilato.
Other accompanying executives from both realities will be interested in the management of the sports field, the bar, the entrances, the materials and the transfers. Then outlined the sports organization chart, in full ex Cavarzano, with the sports director Carlo Cassol, team manager Giacomo Gidoni and Riccardo De Vecchi, coach Massimiliano Parteli, goalkeeper coach Roberto Barbazza and masseuse Monica D’Alfonso.
Further figures will be defined over the next few weeks. The first team will play in Limana, the Juniores in Cavarzano. No one is unbalanced on the squad at the moment, also because the talks will take place later. It will certainly not be easy to skim the two competitive groups, without forgetting the inevitable reinforcements on the market.

“To train young players who can aspire to play in Promotion or Excellence, use an adequate budget for the difficult moment and, as regards the first team specifically, play a championship projected to the playoffs”.
These are the main highlights that Limana and Cavarzano would like to try to achieve in the medium – long term.
