It was in fact typed, a few days ago, at the Colli hospital in the city of Padua. Luisetto plays as a central player, and was decisive in the triumphal ride of the lions in Serie A2, in a difficult year characterized by the second and third wave of Covid19. Technically very gifted, it serves in flotation by the millimeter and on the wall, when it is the same day, it risks ending up in double figures. Luisetto these days is in Ostia, near Rome, to train at beach volleyball. In particular, he follows the training of his girlfriend Ulriche Bridi, thirty and registered in indoor volleyball with Brescia.
She is in the field of national volleyball on sand, but above all he trains because he wants to keep fit. How did the desire to donate bone marrow come about? “My brother and a friend pushed me, claiming it was something simple. Initially I was reluctant, but then I had the opportunity to learn about the typing technique, and so I turned to Admo in Padua. I reflected on the possibility of being able to save a life. I think it is the best for a human being, I was convinced and I went to the Colli hospital ».
The typing process then intrigued him. “They took a sample of my blood and analyzed it. Below my blood has been placed on a special list to track compatibility with sick people who need my bone marrow. They can call me in a week or a year, or tomorrow morning. But I have given my availability and I am ready: I am here ».
Michele Luisetto’s career is intertwined with the city of Padua. From the parish of the Sacred Heart he found himself playing with Valsugana Padova and his first coach, in under 14, was Marco De Nigris, a native of Caorle and friend of an old idol of Michele, the French international Guillame Samica who right on that Venetian beach began to play and that Luisetto finally really met. In Caorle, HRK Motta could play their home matches next year. After the experience in the Paduan training he ended up at Porto Viro and finally at Motta where, for him, the air smells of reconfirmation. “Next year I would like to stay in Motta – he concludes – and I like the idea of being able to play in Caorle, in any case the club decides”. –
