M5S, Rousseau’s ultimatum: “Pay by April 22” – Politics

by admin

Rome, April 8, 2021 – After 15 months, the time has come to make “final decisions”. L’Rousseau Association intima al M5s to pay 450 thousand euros of ‘backward’ for services rendered, or the roads will “inevitably divide”. The date of the split this time is black and white, which appeared on the Blog of the Stars in a post with an unequivocal title (“It’s time for decisions”): the April 22, 2021.

Rousseau “imagines” already a different path than the M5s led by Giuseppe Conte which has not yet dissolved many of the reservations related to the future of the party and its role as leader, waiting, according to many, that the issue with Davide Casaleggio came to a solution. Which now seems to be there, even if a tear appears. The date is not accidental; April 22 will in fact be 15 months from the resignation “of the last political leader democratically elected by the members – we read yesterday in the Casaleggio post – and who, even then, urged what today is being relaunched for the umpteenth time: the refoundation of the M5s .

Since that day, the path of the Movement has been characterized by continuously postponed decisions (such as the vote of the Chief Politician provided by the Statute), by decisions taken and never implemented (such as those of registered in the States General), by impeded decisions (such as those of Probiviri to sanction the defaulters), but also from denied decisions (such as the denial to activate a agreement with Rousseau).

Angry response from the government M5s: “Internal controversies are a luxury that we cannot afford at the moment”.

On with the divorce, therefore, while Conte is looking for a seat in Rome for the new political creature and Casaleggio who is instead intent on his new departure, with a week – the next – entirely dedicated to events in memory of his father Gianroberto, a stage that should also relaunch it politically, with an eye to the center-right. On the other hand, the negotiation with the Movement is now worn out, even if Conte’s goal remains to regain total control of the entire political team starting from the ownership of the subscriber data, which Rousseau has never denied, but which he continues to keep under lock and key pending an agreement. If there ever will be, at this point.

For now, the Roman leaders do not deepen, according to a parliamentary source, the various opportunities for replace the digital platform managed by the Association, but after the divorce from Rousseau “we must also have – underlined yesterday the same source – in the name of direct democracy“. Conte goes on, therefore, but slowly: he could still resume his online talks on the future Movement pending a new confrontation with the parliamentarians (perhaps Monday) which is announced on.
