The new director of Da Rold Logistics Belluno, newly promoted in A3, Filippo Maccabruni, was born in Segrate (Milan) twenty-two years ago . In the last five championships he wore the jerseys of Club Italia, Mondovì, Lagonegro, Cisano and Bolzano. He arrives in Belluno «very ready and ready to face this year», he guarantees, «here there is a serious project with solid foundations, supported by a company that has great ambitions and is eager to reach the top. I was immediately convinced, also because the new experience is in line with the goals I have set myself for the development of my career ».
What role did the reconfirmed coach Diego Poletto play in convincing you to choose Belluno?
“It made me realize instantly that he believes in me. He gave me confidence and, for my part, I feel the need to take responsibility of a certain type, to express myself at an important level. I did not know Belluno, but the competence of the people within the company has never made me doubt anything. I know that the city is quiet, at the foot of the mountains: ideal for working calmly and giving your best ».
A few weeks after the start of preparation, Maccabruni already has clear ideas …
“I hope not to disappoint those who have placed their trust in me. I will give my best and I will always be available to teammates and people who gravitate around the team. Ultimately, I would like to be up to it: on and off the pitch ».
Filippo Maccabruni is one of the six new faces of Volleyball Belluno who, after having touched the promotion from Serie B on the field, landed in A3 by acquiring the rights of the category from UniTrento. The other new signings of Da Rold Logistics were the central Matteo Mozzato and the side Danilo De Santis, Alessandro Graziani, Massimo Ostuzzi and Alberto Gionchetti. To the confirmations (Matteo Piazzetta, Alex Paganin, Alessandro Della Vecchia, Giovanni Candeago, Andrea Milani and Gonzalo Martinez) was also added Tommaso Pierobon from Belluno, in the role of second free. B title in Turin. Having acquired the rights of the A3 series from UniTrento, Volleyball Belluno was able to sell those of the men’s B series (which had stopped, as known, a whisker from the goal of promotion, losing only the final with Bologna at the golden set). The Piedmontese society of the Arts and Crafts of Turin acquired the sports right from the Volleyball Belluno to compete in the men’s Serie B in the 2021-2022 championship. –
