JESI. Marcello Diomedi, the only Sardinian footballer but on the pitch with the Bari shirt, died in Jesi at the age of 78 on 12 April 1970 when Cagliari won the championship mathematically by beating the Apulians 2-0. He was born in Calangianus on 1 December 1942. He played in Serie A with Fiorentina and Bari, with a unique record in Italy and perhaps also in Europe: he had played in all the football leagues from Serie A to the Third Category, playing at least one game and , in each of all these leagues, scoring at least one goal: 35 goals among the professionals. In his career he also took 10 penalties, scoring them all. He ended his career in Serie D with the Alghero shirt in which he played from 1973 to 1975.

We propose again the interview given a year ago to the Nuova on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the rossoblù championship.
