Ricky Massara is no longer the sporting director of Milan. Twenty-four hours after the farewell to Paolo Maldini, the Rossoneri club also formalized the separation with the Rossoneri director. An announcement made with a short press release two lines: “AC Milan announces that Frederic Massara concludes his tenure at the Club. We thank Ricky for his contribution to Milan’s growth project in recent years”. Thus, the revolution in the Milan sports area is completed, which will not replace Massara and Maldini with other managers, but will give greater powers to the managing director, Giorgio Furlanie al capo scouting, Geoffrey Moncada.
Four years with the Rossoneri
Thus ended Massara’s experience at Milan after four years. The Turin manager was signed in summer 2019 and, together with Maldini, he built the team that won the Scudetto in the 2021-2022 season. “We are sorry to see them go – CEO Furlani said in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport – We are grateful to Paolo and Ricky for their significant contribution to the club over the years.”
