Montello is at the start in Group C of Excellence with the aim of suffering less than in the last two championships, in which the suspensions for Covid have paradoxically been a help, given the blocking of relegations. On the bench is the new coach Alex Visentin, formerly of Campigo, who will have a half-changed team at his disposal: in fact, there are 11 reconfirmed players and 12 signings. The latest additions in chronological order are Riccardo Strippoli and the two boys born in 2003 Gianluca Poloni and Jacopo Zanin, all from Prodeco Montebelluna. In the Italian Cup the Volpaghesi are in group 11 of the regional phase, which kicks off on 5 September, with Treviso, Istrana and Eclisse Careni Pievigina.
