Bologna, 21 August 2021 – Andrea’s return to MotoGP is no longer so unlikely Dovizioso. After a few months spent as an Aprilia tester, the rider from Forlì would be talking to Yamaha for a comeback already this season. The situation involves the two Yamaha teams with Vinales that could already take the Aprilia in hand. Everything will also depend on Franco’s return from injury Morbidelli which could happen between Aragon and Misano.

The situation. Maverick Vinales will not end his season with Yamaha and Cal will replace him at Silverstone Crutchlow, with Jake Dixon on the Petronas released by Morbidelli. The Italian-Brazilian should return between Aragon and Misano – with Vinales who could already be driving the Aprilia – and for him we immediately talk about an official bike alongside fourth rare, consequently the second Petronas bike would free up alongside Rossi. And this is where it could land Dovizioso with the promise of having an official bike for 2022 when the team will change sponsors relying on WithU.
