Maverick Vinales on Yamaha won the MotoGp Qatar GP, the first round of the motorcycling world championship. Mocked at the finish line Francesco Bagnaia who after the pole had to settle for third place. At the Losail circuit, Vinales took the lead with eight laps to go. Disappointment for Bagnaia’s Ducati-Lenovo, overtaken at the last breath by Johann Zarco on the Ducati Pramac. Joa Mir fourth, fifth place for Fabio Quartararo’s Yamaha. Bad Rossi who closes 12th.
