First days of training and first indications for Motta. Newcomer Omar Biglino was awarded the rank of captain. His is the legacy of Riccardo Scaltriti, one of the heroes of the promotion. «We arrived a few days ago and – says the captain – we are starting to get to know each other among new teammates: we are a good group. I am happy because it is a beautiful location. We are enjoying ourselves in Caorle ». On the objectives Biglino – last season in super league in Perugia – has clear ideas «They will certainly be high, because it is right to always aim to do very well. I am very confident because we are a young group with a coach who knows how to work with young people and who knows how to work a lot. I think we will improve a lot slowly ». Omar applauds the rediscovered (albeit limited) presence of the public: “It will be exciting because after a year of playing with empty arenas, finding the fans will be a wonderful thing”. Important statements also by the “bomber” Kristian Gamba, the most awaited reconfirmation among the green-and-white fans during the summer: «We have been here in Caorle for a couple of days, we have settled in, we have been able to do a few more days at sea. Today we started with the tests and from tomorrow we start to get serious with training, but we are energized … very energized ». On the objectives of the next tough A2 championship, Gamba is in line with the company’s ambitions. «My personal goals remain the same as in other years: to improve from year to year, something that becomes somewhat easier by staying on the same team with a manager you already know. But the level has risen so we will have to give it our all ». –
