Miami, November 22, 2021 – New spectacular videos sent by Mars on Earth givesNASA’s Perseverance rover. Here the pictures of the 13th flight of Ingenuity Mars on the Red Planet, but we are already at the 16th.
Flight 13 lasted 160.5 seconds, and it was one of the most complicated because the Perseverance helicopter had to fly over the crests of the “Séítah” of the Jezero crater. Ingenuity Mars detached itself from Mars by 26 feet, or 8 meters.
The videos were shot by Mastcam-Z a two cameras of the rover, and go to complete what was captured in flight number 12.
In the video we see the drone reach the maximum expected altitude of 8 meters, then turn on itself for align his camera for exploration. Then after having also moved up to off the screen, it is seen returning and landing in the vicinity of the point from which it took off.
