According to Liu Lifeng, director of the Yanqing Stadium Construction Department of the Beijing Major Projects Office, because the meteorological conditions in the Yanqing competition area have met the snowmaking requirements, the trial snowmaking work started at 18:00 on the 10th, and the snowmaking equipment was mainly debugged. The official snowmaking started on the 15th, and all snowmaking tasks are expected to be completed in mid-January to ensure that the Beijing Winter Olympics will be greeted in the most perfect state.

The National Alpine Ski Center will be fully completed at the end of June 2021. It has passed many test activities and is fully qualified for the competition. The alpine skiing project is called “the jewel in the crown of the Winter Olympics”. The National Alpine Skiing Center has built 7 tracks to undertake the alpine skiing downhill, super-giant slalom, giant slalom, slalom and other 11 small events in total. 11 gold medals were produced. The 7 tracks are 9.2 kilometers in length, with a maximum vertical drop of 900 meters. The ice-like snow track is divided into two types: racing and competition

In the case of athletes turning at high speeds, the surface of the slope can also be ensured to be smooth and smooth, ensuring that the status of the slope is relatively perfect regardless of the number of players on the field, so as to ensure the fairness of the game.

There are two types of ice-like snow tracks: one is racing ice-like snow tracks.
