The Tokyo Olympic Games champion and Zhejiang player Wang Shun won the championship with a time of 1:56.33, achieving three consecutive championships in the event at the National Games. This is also his sixth gold medal in the National Games.

Shanghai player Tan Haiyang and Shandong player Liu Zongyu won the second and third runner-ups with 1:58.63 and 1:59.24 respectively.
