In this physical fitness test, the national team coaching team formulated the physical fitness test items and standards for Chinese national badminton team players based on the physical fitness test data of the 2020 Tokyo cycle national competition and the national team test data, combined with the characteristics of the badminton event.

The test items include squat, bench press, 5000 meters (women’s 4000 meters), abdominal muscle endurance, back muscle endurance, 400 meters x 5, 1500 times of rope skipping (double shake), and four-point touch (20 times), a total of 8 items.

It is reported that the results of this physical fitness test will also be linked to the qualifications for entering and leaving the national team, as well as the qualifications for international competitions.
