New look at the Polisportivo for the first of the Dolomites

On Saturday at 3 pm the match against Este. There will be 740 seats available for fans. Today the second tribune will be mounted and the new seats will soon be installed.

The Polisportivo is ready. Undoubtedly different from how Belluno left him at the end of last season, but equally ready to host the Dolomiti Bellunesi.

After three official matches played at the Zugni Tauro in Feltre between the championship and the Coppa Italia, the stadium of the capital will welcome the boys of Renato Lauria on Saturday, who at 3 pm will challenge Este, hoping to repeat Cattolica’s convincing victory. It should be like this all year round, with the possibility, however, not to be excluded of some winter transfer to the Sedico synthetic if needed. However, it will be discussed in due course.

740 PLACES, SAME PRICE

The assembly of the second mobile grandstand is expected for today, which will increase the capacity of the system. We remember, in fact, that the problem concerning the Polisportivo was born with the discovery of static problems at the two central covered tiers. They had to undergo a significant reduction in the number of places available, so two additional mobile structures were required to accommodate the D. One has already been in place since last week, next to the central grandstand towards the stadium bar.

The other will find space on the south side of the East stairway, near the Goal Arena.

Going into detail, there will be a total of 740 places available, as announced yesterday by the Belluno Dolomites.

154 involve the main grandstand and 136 the east one; 256 will be able to sit on the temporary bar side and 194 on the synthetic pitch side.

And the cost of the ticket? It does not change and is fixed: 10 euros, without distinction between covered and uncovered sectors. This is because the fans will sit in a segment of the stadium of their choice. Consequently, in case of bad weather, the saying goes: “Whoever arrives first, stays better”. Among other things, the question of rain would also have arisen at Zugni Tauro, where a staircase is uncovered.

NEW SEATS

Another pleasant comfort for the spectators is due to the installation of new seats in the covered stands. Already removed the old yellow and blue ones in the center, more comfortable white ones will be mounted, equipped among other things with a backrest. A series of small improvements awaiting the most substantial restyling intervention to which the entire Polisportivo will be subjected.

At stake is always the 3.7 million euro project announced at the beginning of September by the municipality of Belluno. Because, on the other hand, the stands of the stadium will not be able to remain at a reduced capacity forever, especially hoping for a future landing in the professionals.

And then the changing rooms must be modernized, the lighting improved and much more. One step at a time anyway. Meanwhile, the Polisportivo reopens its doors. And that’s welcome news for sure.
