The (biennial) agreement between the neroverde club and the technician from the Marches has been officialized, at the debut among the cadets. The deputy will be Guana

PORDENONE. The news, in the air for some time, has become official. The new coach of Pordenone is Massimo Paci. The technician from the Marches, born in 1978, fresh from a season in Serie C at Teramo, has signed a two-year contract (expires June 2023).

For him, the 2021-2022 championship will mark his debut on a Serie B bench. Roberto Guana was hired together with him, already his “second” first in Forlì (in Serie D, in 2019-2020) and then in Teramo.

Both will be presented – Friday 4 June – at the Bruno De Marchi sports center during a press conference (at 11 am). Confirmed in the role of technical collaborator Andrea Toffolo from Udine, among the green lizards since 2015-2016.

The figures who will complete the staff will be communicated by the club in the coming days, even if it is already known that the athletic trainer will be Salvatore Sciuto, formerly of Lecce and Brescia.

A new technical era has therefore begun in Pordenone: after having entrusted the bench to an expert coach like Attilio Tesser (replaced in the season finale by Maurizio Domizzi), the company has decided to focus on a younger coach , which, however, already boasts four championships in its curriculum, not to mention the final part of the 2015-2016 tournament of Marche’s Excellence (at the helm of the Civitanovese, ended with a promotion).

Paci has in fact led Montegiorgio (2017-2019 between Excellence and Serie D), Forlì and Teramo. However, his experience as a footballer is noteworthy: the former defender played from 2004 to 2008 and from 2009 to 2012 in Serie A, with 415 appearances among the “pros”.

The most important parenthesis of his career as a player was in Parma, with which he was in the squad from 2006 to 2011, for a total of 137 games.

For Paci, Pordenone will ask the FIGC technical sector to issue an exemption pursuant to the regulations of the technical sector itself.

Currently Paci is in possession of the Uefa qualification and is awaiting admission to the Uefa Pro course.

A different situation than that of Domizzi, who was in possession of the Uefa B license (he will soon get the Uefa A).

Paci, it must be remembered, will be the thirteenth coach of the Lovisa era, which began in 2007 in the championship of Excellence: before him, Massimo Pavanel, Giovanni Bosi, Rodolfo Vanoli, Ermanno Tomei, Giovanni Soncin, Fabio Rossitto (in three, different, occasions), Carmine Parlato, Lamberto Zauli, Luciano Foschi, Bruno Tedino, Attilio Tesser and, indeed, Maurizio Domizzi. –
