On the evening of January 15th, Beijing time, the Premier League officially announced that the North London derby between Tottenham and Arsenal was postponed. The game was originally scheduled to kick off at 00:30 on January 17th, Beijing time.
Earlier, Arsenal officially announced that due to the new crown, injuries and some players are competing in the African Cup, the number of players in the team was insufficient, so they applied to postpone the game, and the Premier League officially accepted the application. Premier League officials stated that the number of available players in Arsenal’s team was less than the minimum number required for the game (13 players on the field and a goalkeeper), and the Premier League board accepted the club’s application for postponement of the game.
