VIVERONE
Everything is ready this Sunday, June 20, on the occasion of the first edition of the Viverone sprint triathlon organized by the Moncalierese company Qualitry. The Radio Alfa-Discovintage staff and some personalities from the world of entertainment and fashion will also be present at the triathlon competition, including Justine Mattera and Deborah Spinelli, for an event that promises to be highly spectacular from the point of view of sport but also of music and of beauty. The race program foresees at 10 the meeting at the La Marinella bar, on the lakefront in Viverone, then at 11.30 the transition area (La Marinella) will be open and at 13.30 the first female battery will start, which will face the 750 meters swimming test. A quarter of an hour later in the waters of Lake Viverone also the men’s battery with the same route.
After the swimming test, transit in the transition area where you will then move on to the part dedicated to cycling (road bike), with a 20 km route that will touch the municipalities, as well as the host one of Viverone, also the neighboring ones of Roppolo, Piverone and Palazzo Canavese.
Return to the transition area to face the last test, the race, 5 km long from the La Marinella bar to Comuna, a hamlet of Viverone, along the road leading to Borgo d’Ale. During the first swimming test, the volunteers of the Sics (Italian School of Rescue Dogs) will also be present in the water with the rescue dogs, while for the rest of the race assistance will be given by the volunteers of Ivrea Soccorso. For safety reasons then the state road 228, in the section affected by the event, will remain closed to vehicular traffic from 12.30 to 15.30, with checks on the territory by the Civil Protection volunteers of the municipalities interested in the tender, Aib, forest fire association and forces of the order in charge. The competition will also have a charitable purpose: part of the proceeds will be donated to Admo, the bone marrow donor association. –
