Luca Bruno Mattiet, 46 years old from Castellamonte, a very meticulous and prepared coach, comments on the extraordinary and intense season of the Cuorgnatesi: «We did something incredible that no one could ever expect at the beginning of the season. The credit must be distributed to everyone: from the entire squad, to the sports director Efisio Cocco, to the honorary president Antonio Cesarino, to the vice president Agostino Cocco and to the head of the youth sector Luigi Pullici. Everyone worked excellently; we are a real family, very compact and determined and we have always shown it, these are the results and it could not be otherwise ».

Bruno Mattiet has never made the Promotion as a coach and is ready for this new adventure in a much more difficult category, in which it will be very important, first of all, to limit errors to a minimum: “I played in Promotion and Excellence in Castellamonte, Strambino and Caselle and I was trained by great coaches, such as, among others, Moroccan, Koetting and Gardano – says Bruno Mattiet. I am very curious to confront myself with a new reality like that of the Promotion, knowing full well that what I have done in the past will count up to a certain point. In the last six years I have obtained four promotions, the first with the Locana from the Third to the Second, then the second always with the Locana from the Second to the First, then with the Vallorco again from the Second to the First and finally this year, from the First to the Promotion, with a capital P.

Credit for this ride also goes to my wife Valeria Bot, who has always given me a great hand in how to deal with the psychological-moral management of the group and always keep the right stimuli week by week, training by training, game by game “.

The Vallorco championship is to be framed for a whole series of aspects, first of all the fact that it was not among the most accredited teams on the eve of the championship.
