OVS partner della Cortina Ski World Cup

Deborah Compagnoni, the most successful Italian champion ever, presented the Altavia collection dedicated to ski and outdoor clothing and created in collaboration with OVS in the igloo at Chalet Tofane. The brand, which in recent seasons has expanded its product offering by including collections dedicated to the world of outdoor and sport, has in fact become a partner of the Women’s Alpine Skiing World Cup and the Cortina Paralympic World Cup. The collection, which will be visible in the display case located in Corso

Italy until 5 February, takes the name of the first of the great Dolomite routes – Alta Via n1, known as the classic – a perfect union between style and technology that guarantees excellent performance for athletes, and not only.

A unique combination of sport and mountains, research into materials and performance that makes OVS a perfect partner for the World Cup in Ampezzo.

“OVS is pleased to participate and support this international event organized by the Cortina Foundation – states Vania Rinaldi, Corporate Communications Director of OVS. The Altavia ski collection by Deborah Compagnoni is an important stage in OVS’s journey into the world of sportswear. We want to offer all athletes of all levels a high quality, technical and aesthetic product, at an accessible price.”

“I am very honored and proud to have collaborated with the OVS team for the Altavia collection – says Deborah Compagnoni – bringing all my experience both on a technical level – after many years of competitions and competitive spirit – and on a stylistic level for those who, like me, I enjoy practicing alpine skiing and ski mountaineering (skimo), a discipline that will become Olympic in the next Milan Cortina 2026 Olympics.”

“We are happy to have an international brand like OVS at our side, which has decided to accompany the World Cup with the Altavia collection, created thanks to the collaboration with the Italian champion Deborah Compagnoni. This partnership not only symbolizes the union between the worlds of sport and fashion, of which this new clothing line is a symbol, but also reflects our constant commitment to offering unique, high-quality experiences in the splendid setting of Cortina d’ Ampezzo” declared Lorenzo Tardini, Sales & Marketing Manager of the Cortina Foundation.

The Altavia collection, for men, women and children, is designed to meet high technical requirements: protection from wind, humidity and cold, but also wide freedom of movement, breathability and grip, and is therefore suitable for all levels of athletic preparation of those who practice skiing. The fabrics – stretch to guarantee elasticity and resistance to any movement, and water resistant – are assembled with heat-taped seams, which ensure tightness. The internal paddings are made of 3M Thinsulate, a material that optimizes heat retention and breathability. The waterproof zips, the elasticated snow gaiters, the detachable suspenders, the side ventilation openings and the adjustable hem (for the trousers), the hood with one-hand fastening, add functionality and comfort to the garments. The Altavia by Deborah Compagnoni ski and outdoor collections for women, men and children are on sale in a selection of OVS stores and on OVS.it and at La Cooperativa di Cortina.
