Paffoni chooses Flavio Fioretti as the new coach

by admin

Flavio Fioretti, born in 1977, coach with long experience in the role of assistant coach in the top flight is the new coach of Paffoni. He takes the place of Marco Andreazza who yesterday resigned.

Fioretti began in Cantù at the age of 22 as an assistant to Franco Ciani, continuing for twelve seasons in Serie A, with Sacripanti, Dalmonte and Trinchieri, gaining European experience and winning the Italian Super Cup. He continues in Reggio Emilia, alongside Max Menetti, where he wins promotion to Serie A and stays for four years, winning the EuroChallenge and reaching the championship final. A season follows in Capo d’Orlando and finally Cremona, where he also works alongside coach Meo Sacchetti, winning the Italian Cup. Today – Thursday 23 September – he will direct the first training session at 5 pm at PalaBagnella. Fans, with Green Pass, will be able to access the grandstand to meet the new coach.

Fioretti defines himself as a coach who works to build a cohesive group, with a strong sense of identity, capable of deriving fun from training and developing a strong spirit of competition. The time available to resume the work left by coach Andreazza, in view of the first championship, is very little: the appointment is already next with the derby at home against College Borgomanero.
