CHIAVERANO
Double second place in the 50 and 100 meters back at the national swimming competition Swim.Mi.Cup night edition, held last Saturday, March 19, at Bocconi in Milan. This is the booty conquered by the Canavese swimmer Francesca Pasquino, 19 years old from Chiaverano, standard bearer of the Milanese club Lane Rosse: “It was a competition with a very high technical rate – says Pasquino – and all the forty competitors gave me a hard time, both in the 50-meter backstroke battery, and in the 100 backstroke. I competed giving my best, this was the priority aspect, but unfortunately I was unable to get on the top step of the podium », explains Pasquino. Leaving the Milanese race behind her, Francesca Pasquino is now ready to return to the pool to better prepare the absolute championships in Riccione, scheduled from Saturday 9 to Wednesday 13 April: “I will have to concentrate exclusively on this other very important appointment – he explains the swimmer from Ivory Coast – and for this reason I will train with great concentration and determination both in the swimming pool in Milan in via Mecenate and in the one in Segrate. Most likely I will perform the 50 and 100 backstroke races, where the main objective will certainly be to lower my record in both specialties: as for the 50 backstroke meters it is 28”50, while for the 100 backstroke meters, I would like to go down 1 “20”. –
