The Azzurri court the expert median leaving Lodi and close for the 23-year-old ex OltreVoghe and Derthona
Manuele Maione, 23-year-old midfielder from Pontecurone, in the last season at Nibbiano Valtidone (Piacenza Excellence), will be one of the new faces of Pavia 2022-23 led by Maurizio Tassi. The only thing missing is the official status of the blue club, which by company choice has decided to formalize the new signings only from 1 July, even if some operations have already been concluded. The name of Maione had already circulated in recent weeks, but during a summer tournament the same player publicly admitted that he had joined the club in via Alzaia for the next championship. After wearing the shirts of OltreVoghe, Voghe and Derthona in Serie D, Maione had played the final part of 2020-21 with the shirt of the Accademia Pavese before marrying last summer at Nibbiano. A player of quantity, but also of quality, inside midfield, he will be one of the many new entries of Pavia 2022-23.
In the nerve department the young 2003 Giani and Calvi have been reconfirmed (the latter can also play as an offensive winger in a possible trident), while the official permanence of Riccardo Moratti, born in 2001 who will no longer be under as in this last Italian season (those born in 2002, 2003 and 2004 will be). And precisely on the class of 2004, the Pavia market has been concentrating in recent days.
Pending the presentation of other Italian players, the club is working to assemble and complete a staff that will be renewed in every department. In the middle of the pitch was circulating the name of an experienced player who left Fanfulla in these hours, Omar Laribi: after five seasons the 35-year-old midfielder said goodbye to Lodi and would be hungry for several clubs of Excellence. The arrival of the striker Pizzini, formerly Varzi, who after flirting with Pavia and Vergiatese got married at Brianza Olginate, has faded, the diesse Luca Sacco and mister Tassi are looking for the right pawns to form a competitive attack; to replace the Croatian Vlatko Blazevic (13 goals last season), with whom an economic agreement was not reached. –
