PONT DONNAS
The D series is preparing to return to the field after the long period of rest. For players and managers, football is finally back to being played, but a few days after returning to the pitch there are many doubts and problems to be resolved. The high number of infections present in the squads of the teams has postponed the recovery matches of last Wednesday, including Asti-Pont Donnaz Hone Arnad Evancon (Pdhae) and in all probability there will be few matches that will be regularly played next Sunday 23 January, the date scheduled for the dispute on the last day out.
As of today, Friday 21, Chieri-Gozzano, Hsl Derthona-Novara and also Città di Varese-Pdhae have already been postponed due to covid due to the numerous players from the Aosta Valley team affected by the virus. The recovery dates are not yet known but if on the one hand the team is in the pits, not so the management who, active as usual, after having ensured the performances of the defender Stefano Cason, made an encore putting the top class under contract ’95 Diego Frugoli. Growing up in the Empoli youth teams, the flexible Tuscan striker, who can cover various roles in the offensive chessboard of Mr. Cretaz, wore the jerseys of Pistoiese, Pisa and Savona in Lega Pro and Massese, Lavagnese, Seravezza and Varesina in Serie D. Last season Frugoli won the Serie D championship with Montevarchi scoring 13 goals. –
