Pedavena prophet in his homeland. The first trophy dedicated to the memory of Gianfranco Pagotto, the unforgettable historic president of Pedavena bocce, was awarded. To remember him, his company wanted to organize a twelve-hour race. Forty players took part in the event, grouped into eight teams, who fought relentlessly on the lanes of the Pedavena brewery park. The trophy went to the hosts who, out of seven games played, have won six: Mauro Ceccon (who is the president of Pedavena), Marco Viscusi, Michele De Min, Barbara and Samantha Zago the protagonists. In second place, instead, went Andrea Casagrande, Luigino Biesuz, Massimiliano Dallo, Mauro Turrin and Enrico Andreazza. Finally, Alessandro Pauletti, Loris Fiorot, Stefania De Bortoli, Sergio De Bacco and Ugo Prest climbed on the third step of the podium. «The spirit of friendship, play and healthy competitive spirit», Mauro Ceccon, the president of Pedavenese comments, «gave us a wonderful day, in a new setting, in which we remembered our great friend who recently passed away». The trophy therefore remains at home, in Pedavena. During the awards ceremony, at the end of the day, the deputy mayor of Pedavena, Katia De Lunardi, and Pagotto’s relatives, who commemorated the late Gianfranco, took part. –
