Starting with women, there are eight groups. The regulation provides for one-way matches, with the passage to the next round only of the first classified of each group.

In group 4 tomorrow, at 8 pm, at the Falconieri gym in San Giorgio Canavese, Calton (Serie D) and Montalto Dora (C) will face each other, with the president of the Ivory Coast, Ezio Carazzato, who explains: “We decided to participate because we aim to to further grow the team in view of the championship, our real goal. This year we have changed a lot, both as regards the team and the technical guide, we have to find the right mix and these cup matches will be very useful also in this respect ».

In the same group, at 8.30 pm also the Finimpianti Rivarolo of coach Beppe Orlandi (Serie C) at home against Cogne Aosta (Serie D). The confrontation between Fenusma and Leinì (both militants in Serie D) completes the round at 7 pm. Moving instead to group 5 then, both Fortitudo Chivasso (Serie D) and Rivacastel volley (Serie D company born from the summer merger of Rivarolo volley and Castellamonte) will both be away: the Chivassesi will be engaged at 21 in San Mauro Torinese (D), while at the same time the Canavese players will be on stage in Cigliano (D). The first day will end on Sunday 19th, at 6.30 pm, with the match between Torino volley and Val Chisone.

As for the men, only two groups were formed, with the regulation that in this case provides for the passage of the round to the first two teams. Among the Canavese teams, only Borgofranco volley (D), in group 2, with the team of president Patrizia Machieraldo who will be engaged at PalaRuffini in Borgofranco tomorrow, at 20.30, against Arona (D). In the other challenge of 17 instead, Volleyball Biellese and Stamperia Alicese, both of D.

Both men and women will be back on the pitch on Wednesday 22 September, then on Saturday 25 and Wednesday 29 September, before the final on Saturday 2 October. –
