PONZANO
The Posaclima Ponzano tournament in Bolzano ends with third place. The green-and-whites of coach Anna Zimerle on Sunday beat Vigarano in the final for third place, after the knockout suffered against the hosts of Basket Bolzano. Absent Greta Brunelli, kept at rest as a precaution but in the recovery phase for the first championship. The challenge against Bolzano highlighted the leadership of captain Giordano and the talent of the Dutch center Van Der Keijl. Balance up to 47-46 on the 30 ‘then in the last half the South Tyroleans put the arrow. Against Vigarano to shine were the young Siviero and Carraro, protagonists of the comeback of the second half. The match was decided in the last quarter with Ponzano who found the baskets crucial for success.
