Pordenone changes athletic trainer: Lovisa hires Sciuto

by admin

He takes over from Munzone last year in neroverde. From 2016 he worked in the Corini staff in Lecce

PORDENONE. The choice of Pordenone to entrust its bench to Massimo Paci (who will be assisted by his “deputy”, Roberto Guana) was not the only one regarding the technical staff. The company, in this sense, has moved on and has identified the new athletic trainer: it will be Salvatore Sciuto. Sicilian, born in 1971, has just returned from a season in Serie B with Lecce, a club with which he came close to jumping into Serie A.

From 2016 onwards he has always worked with Eugenio Corini, coach with whom he centered the promotion in the top league in 2019 with the colors of Brescia. A highly experienced figure, with undoubted qualities, who will become part of a staff that now lacks the goalkeeper coach. To be evaluated if the figure of the match analyst will be included, who could be a trusted professional of Paci.

In both situations, news will be expected next week, when the same new coach is expected to sign according to what the club has announced. In the meantime, as regards the figure of the “prof”, Sciuto replaces Fabio Munzone, trainer who had arrived last summer to take the place of Ivano Tito, landed in La Spezia. With Corini, as well as in Lecce and Brescia, he had also worked in Novara (2017-’18), Palermo (2016-’17) and Frosinone (2011-’12). In the curriculum therefore many championships of B and experiences in A.

About his past, Sciuto in Pordenone could find again Luca Tremolada, a footballer who had coached in Brescia. The Lombard playmaker, born in 1991, will return to the base in July after playing on loan with Cosenza. His permanence is not excluded, which would also have a reason given that the club, together with Paci, wants to restart with a new module, the 4-2-3-1 (or the 4-4-2). Tremolada would go to play the attacking midfielder behind the only striker. Surely the green lizards, from midfield upwards, will have to intervene a lot on the market, especially as regards the offensive outsiders. At the moment they can rely on Davis mensah (’91), arriving from Triestina, and possibly Patrick Ciurria (’95) should it remain. But it is clear that the infantryman is leaving and the depth of many black-green maneuvers depends on his sale.

The defensive side sector will also need to be adjusted: two right-backs are needed, given that Filippo Berra (’95) will return to Bari (he was here on loan) e Alessandro Vogliacco (’98) will probably be sold.
