Pordenone, first outing on July 18 in Tarvisio with a team of B.

The company, waiting to place the first shots on the market, is organizing the withdrawal and the list of summer friendlies

PORDENONE. The last match was played more than a month ago: on 10 May Pordenone faced Cosenza, beating them 2-0 and thus winning the salvation in Serie B. We have to wait another month to see the lizards on the field again. At the moment, the first friendly match of Pordenone is set for the afternoon of Sunday 18 July in Tarvisio. There will be great curiosity among supporters and professionals: it will be the debut of the team of Massimo Paci, the coach chosen to replace Maurizio Domizzi on the team bench.

The intention, unlike in previous years, is not to play the first match of the year with a sparring partner, but with a strong rival: we are talking about a Serie B or Lega Pro opponent. a formation available for that date, the “premiere” could be brought forward to Friday 16 or Saturday 17. The picture is evolving, of course, but the club wants to organize the test on Sunday, to try to involve the fans and give them the opportunity to see the group live after a long time (although in the background there are the controversies related to a new year in “away” to Lignano). The last challenge open to the public dates back to last autumn, when the green lizards faced Reggina at Teghil.

Massimo Paci’s team would thus make its debut two weeks after the meeting, set for 5 July, and after a week of work in the Tarvisio training camp. Fifteen days, therefore, to oil the new mechanisms, that 4-4-2 with which the coach from Fermo would like to see his players on the pitch. The official debut will then take place on the weekend of August 15th with the Coppa Italia match against Udinese. The weekend following the start of the cadet championship: on that date Pordenone wants to arrive ready, both from a technical point of view and from a team building point of view.

To date, the green lizard market (as well as that of the other teams, of course) has not yet taken off: numerous operations that the technical area will have to complete, given that after six years they change form (from 4-3-1 -2) and you have to find suitable players for this. At the moment we need two right-backs (like El Kaouakibi from Alto Adige), three side midfielders and two strikers (Strizzolo and Diaw?), Not to mention a thick midfielder (in addition to the young Santoro del Teramo, the club’s goal) to go alongside the confirmed Pasa, Misuraca and Magnino.
