Pordenone: Gavazzi has signed until June, striker Iacoponi is arriving from Parma

PORDENONE. The long-awaited signature arrived on Tuesday afternoon after training. Davide Gavazzi is again a player of Pordenone.

The Lombard midfielder, born in 1986, has signed the contract that will bind him to Mauro Lovisa’s club until June.

For him this is the second adventure with lizards: the first, born in the summer of 2018, ended in February 2021 after 76 games, 6 goals and 9 assists.

Together with the Friulian club he had won promotion to Serie B and the play-off semifinal among the cadets. Or rather: he was a pillar of that team.

In the previous competitive season he had remedied a heel injury that put it out of use. Hence the desire on the part of Pordenone to terminate the contract. Gavazzi then tried to get back on track last summer in Modena as coach Tesser, the coach who brought him to De Marchi, but he wasn’t ready yet.

He thus returned to Friuli last December and, during this period, proved to have passed the “test”. He is so ready to make his debut on Sunday in the match against Lecce.

As for incoming movements, the arrival in the city of today is expected Daniele Iacoponi, offensive winger born in 2002. He moved to the neroverdi on loan (until June) from Parma. Unless surprises, he will play his first training session with his new team in the afternoon.

He too will be available for the match with the Salento. He will fight for a place in the trident together with Pellegrini, considered by the other side as irremovable Cambiaghi.

His should be the last reinforcement of Pordenone awaiting new sales. Only the release of some big names could lead to new additions, in particular those of a certain experience.

Almost impossible, at least for the moment, the arrival of Peter Iemmello, center forward born in 1992 owned by Frosinone. The Lazio company has proposed it to the lizards but it is not part of the plans. It is much more likely that the attacker will go to reinforce Catanzaro, a club in his hometown, in Serie C.

With him, according to rumors, the former neroverde could also arrive Salvatore Burrai (’87), who is doing very well at Perugia but could nevertheless marry the ambitious project of the Calabrian association. For now it’s all about rumors: the market has yet to go live and will only do so starting next week.
