Xinhua News Agency, Doha, April 5. The pre-sale of tickets for the second stage of the 2022 Qatar World Cup was launched on the 5th. With the results of the World Cup draw, fans can apply for tickets according to the schedule.
It is reported that the second stage of ticket pre-sale will continue until the 28th of this month. Considering the compact nature of this World Cup, fans have the opportunity to purchase tickets for up to two games on the same day in the group stage.
According to statistics, more than 800,000 tickets were sold in the first phase. In the second phase, Super Fan tickets and Super Fan promotion tickets created for fans of a single team will also be open for subscription for the first time. According to the ticketing policy, residents of the host country Qatar will enjoy special price categories, with tickets as low as 40 Qatari riyals (about 70 yuan).
All tickets will be allocated after the application for this stage closes. If the number of subscriptions exceeds the number of subscriptions available, the ticketing department will allocate tickets in a random manner.
The Qatar World Cup will be held from November 21 to December 18 this year.
