Reano and Querio spread Pianezza Granata on the charge for 90 minutes

On the horizon the derby with Ivrea and the hope of relaunching for the playoffs, at this point well deserved

The Rivarolese returns to victory by relaunching in a playoff key, against a Pianezza who came to Rivarolo to try to snatch a point for his anemic ranking. Not an easy match on paper because the Turinese are an excellent team in the advanced department while they pay a little duty in the defensive phase where there is a lack of expert and professional people.

The Rivarolese, however, on the occasion unleashed perhaps the best performance of the year, not even giving the crumbs to the rossoblù guests who have never managed to worry Caresio. The game has always been in the hands of Stefanetto’s guys who from the beginning have given a frenzied pace to the contest despite the great heat of this period. The scoring opportunities created were several and already before the advantage at least twice Parla and once both Reano and Faletto had had the ball of advantage on their feet, or on their heads (see Parla), an advantage that materialized in the 35 ‘ thanks to a penalty kick obtained and transformed by Reano by virtue of his being knocked down in the area by a defender.

Even in the second half the music does not change, grenade charging forward and rossoblù guests who are unable to strike up an effective contrast. Twice the crossbar replaces Giarnera to reject the conclusions of a wild Reano but in the quarter of an hour the doubling is done with Querio who does not forgive the former orange Giarnera. Having secured the result, the hosts slowed down the pace a little but the same is enough to create still excellent opportunities not exploited by Faletto, Parla, Querio and Reano himself.

Before the triple whistle another crossbar helps Giarnera to reject a conclusion from the wild Reano while Caresio continued to remain idle. Now for the grenade troop on the horizon there is the derby with Ivrea with the aim of scoring heavy points to climb the positions of the play off grid –
