The race saw the participation of 220 athletes from both Veneto and Friuli. The race took place in Piazza dei Martiri covering the entire length of the Liston and part of Piazza Vittorio Emanuele. For the youngest the distances were equal to 400 meters or 1000 meters, instead from the students onwards the distance covered was 1609.34 meters, that is to say one mile. The people of Belluno also performed well in the youth categories.

At the end of the race Enrico Riccobon expressed satisfaction with the result obtained: «Osvaldo Zanella was good and imposed a very strong pace on me.
