Riso Scotti Punto Edile wins game three with Livorno and goes to play game four again at PalaRavizza (two-man ball tomorrow at 6pm). The Pavesi played a growing race, starting well, then holding on when Livorno was sprinting to stretch in the last two quarters.
In the second half, the Pavia players made practically no mistakes in attack and defended strongly, playing with enthusiasm and determination, as well as with the heart. Di Bella starts with Piazza and Dessì for Nasello but the first triple is from Casella, with an immediate response from Donadoni, who then flies on the counterattack on an assist from Rossi. Donadoni, however, is hot and scores the eighth point, that is the whole booty of Pavia.
A decisive Nasello responds to the fifth triple from Livorno. Pavia raises his voice in defense and then thinks about a very solitary Dessì, who then works well with Nasello, but Casella makes five out of five from three (18-10, 8 ‘). Forti enters the series. Donadoni is inspired and after the block to Marchini he goes away (22 – 20, 9 ‘). Pavia restarts with the even front area.
