by admin

The veteran (19 points) and the young Saladini (18) drag Pavia to success on the not easy parquet of PalaMangano

PALERMO

Pavia conquers the PalaMangano and wins the seventh consecutive victory, the second in a row in the clock phase. Palermo tried to play with the area and with the three-point shot, but made the mistake of baptizing the baby Saladini (18 points) and Apuzzo (9), who played the best match with the Pavia jersey. The defense, except in the first quarter, kept the hosts at bay, allowing the Pavesi to beat them right in their field, with 13/25 three-point points. D’Alessandro has loomed and next to him everyone has put their brick. Pavia thus began the trips to Sicily in the best possible way.

D’Alessandro records immediately

Di Marco’s triple launches the hosts ahead, which D’Alessandro remedies on an assist from Donadoni. Pavia’s defense begins to grow and when Donadoni sorts for the triple from Piazza and the partial from Riso Scotti goes up 7 – 0, Palermo stops everything (5 – 7, 3 ‘). Di Bella puts Dessì’s vitality on the field for Rossi and Nick thanks him making the 9-0 partial. Nasello still suffers a foul, but places a second basket that allows him to extend 11 – 0 (5 – 11, 5 ‘). Lombardo’s second triple breaks the spell. Pavia at this point goes off in attack and Palermo places a counterpart of 13 – 3 which forces Di Bella to call the minute (18 – 14, 8 ‘). The push is given by the baby Apuzzo who is baptized and thanks with a triple. Lombardo, the most dangerous player in Green Basket, but still keeps his team ahead. It starts with two free di Piazza (20 – 19, 11 ‘). Saladini gives Piazza respite and D’Alessandro completes Pavia’s recovery with four points, a partial 6 – 0 and a decisive overtaking, Palermo will no longer return (20 – 23, 12 ‘). The defense returns to put pressure on the Palermitans who travel in flames. Saladini lights up in front of the area and puts first a triple then a two-pointer and the partial becomes 11 – 2 (22 – 28, 13 ‘). Hake in the de luxe version marks a three action action (25 – 33, 14 ‘). Rossi inaugurates his game, even if he struggles against the opponents half-lengths (27 – 35, 15 ‘). Gentili scores 5 points in a row, before D’Alessandro replies (32 – 37, 17 ‘). Lombardo’s triple brings Palermo closer together (35 – 37, 18 ‘). Saladini and Apuzzo for three (38 – 43, 20 ‘). It starts with the usual 2/3 zone of Palermo and this time it is Donadoni who lights up. Gentili misses the first shot of his match while D’Alessandro does not and Pavia for the first time has a double-digit advantage (38 – 48, 21 ‘). Di Marco loses the ball and Donadoni sorts to Nasello which he realizes by forcing Verderosa to time out (6-0 partial for Pavia, 38 50, 22 ‘). Palermo places three triples in a row and reopens the match (47 – 50, 24 ‘). D’Alessandro, however, continues the clear path and Donadoni lights up with the basket and rebound and when Nasello sets the triple and Rossi two free is the maximum advantage (47 – 60, 27 ‘). Nasello puts the free on the technician on the bench in Palermo, then it is Saladini who has not forgiven for three (52 – 64, 28 ‘). Saladini also puts the first free of the last quarter while D’Alessandro makes no mistake when he is fouled (54 – 68, 32 ‘). Rossi surgical places an important basket and when Apuzzo sets the triple Pavia sees the finish line (54 – 73, 33 ‘). Di Marco still believes in it and Palermo tries the last effort. Torgano’s first basket is the final sentence (58 – 77, 35 ‘). Gentili returns to bomb from three but D’Alessandro is vigilant and the game ends practically here. –
