A 20-year-old boy from Jesi is respecting the expectations of coach Mian and DS Gherarrdini and yesterday against Bernareggio, given the absence of Sanguinetti still injured, he took the role of first play on his shoulders showing off a game of 16 points in 29 minutes, 4/8 of 3 and 4 assists. Because, first of all, congratulations for the victory and for the performance. What was the match against Bernareggio?
«It was a game where we were solid for 40 minutes. We have shown that we have taken an extra step in terms of control of the match and we have been good at reaching +15, which we had repeatedly achieved against other teams, and finally keeping it until the end. Unlike other matches, we managed to remain fluid in attack and not have fatal defensive blackouts in the past ».
With the absence of Sanguinetti he had more minutes available and showed he can deserve them. How do you live this situation?
«For the Sanguinetti team he is an important player capable of making a difference. When something like this is missing, it could be a potentially critical situation, but I was good at being ready, I made myself available to the coach and I managed to do what I do best on the pitch. It went well on Saturday against Bernareggio and also against Fiorenzuola ».
From Jesi, his hometown, he moved on to San Vendemiano. An important step in his career.
“I’m really happy. In San Vendemiano I found a beautiful environment both as regards the companions and also the staff. I know I made the right choice ».
What do you expect from the rest of the championship?
«It will be a tough championship. There will be few games in which we will win smoothly as against Bernareggio and there will be many more games where we will have to fight until the last action, if we manage to continue on this path in my opinion we could take away various satisfactions ». –
