Serie A, odds: Verona-Inter –

Against Napoli and Spezia two points have arrived in as many games, after the eleven consecutive victories that have dug the furrow with the pursuers. But Inter still sees the finish line, with a ten-point gap over Milan that seems unbridgeable. Conte’s men lack three victories to be crowned Italian champion without looking at what the others are doing: on Sunday at 3 pm Verona arrives at the San Siro and the Nerazzurri are looking for three points to get close to the Scudetto goal.

Verona has stopped. It can be there, with the Europa League too far to believe and salvation at a safe distance. In the last three games there have been as many defeats against Lazio, Sampdoria and Fiorentina. In the seven most recent matches, Juric’s men have lost six times and won on only one occasion, on April 3 at Cagliari: 2-0 with goals from Barak and Lasagna. The tenth place and the thirteen points advantage over the third last position keep the Gialloblù safe, who will now have the task of stopping the leaders: Inter has slowed down, Conte will certainly want to return to success at all costs so as not to lengthen the wait towards the long-awaited Nerazzurri championship.
