The 2000-meter mixed relay is a new addition to the Beijing Winter Olympics. In the quarter-finals on the 21st, the South Korean, Dutch and Chinese teams broke the world record three times within half an hour. The South Korean team that played in the first group was led by the star Huang Daxian. They broke the original world record with 2:38.451; less than 10 minutes later, the Dutch team in the third group crossed the line with 2:38.094, breaking South Korea.
