PORDENONE. On the afternoon of Thursday 24 February, the first official meeting of the working group that will lead to the construction of the stadium in the city was held in the town hall of Pordenone. The municipal administration led by the mayor Alessandro Ciriani, present at the meeting with councilors and reference officials, reiterated “the absolute desire to create in the shortest possible time a stadium that can be adapted to the needs of the different categories, a fundamental structure for Pordenone, not only to meet the needs of football, but also of other sports and cultural and entertainment activities ».

The president of Pordenone Calcio, Mauro Lovisa, accompanied by the general manager Giancarlo Migliorini, instead highlighted that “football needs its home in the city, a modern and fan-friendly facility that can contribute to the resumption of growth over the years – at beyond the results of the field, not programmable – rooting a black-green faith that involves the whole Pordenone area, schools and young people ».

The municipal offices are working on the evaluation of possible sites where to build the system (the first have been identified) and on the roads to be followed for finding funding, in the range of possibilities offered by the Pnrr, by national, administrative as well as sports channels and Europeans. The parts will re-update within a month to define the next steps.

Citizenship and fans will be constantly updated in the development of the stadium operation.
