The fifth edition of the Stars Summer Volley took place on Sunday, a summer green volleyball tournament organized by Stars Volley Mortara which was able to take advantage, for the occasion, of the collaboration of Don Riccardo Campari who made the entire Oratory of Albonese available. “Thanks to don Campari and the friends of the ASD Albonese polisportiva thanks to whom we were able to set up a very well organized event with 4 playing fields available and all the useful services to fight even a day of intense heat”, comments Nico satisfied Marseglia, president of Stars Volley Mortara. It was played all day with the classic formula of three against three and a girl must always be on the field. The sixteen participating teams formed four groups of four teams and clashed against each other. The winners were able to access the phase called gold, while the losers continued to play all day by accessing the silver and bronze phases for the composition of the final ranking, so fun was guaranteed to all participants. The winners of this edition were the AC Picchia, the trio formed by Niccolò Cocchetti, Elisa Marseglia and Mattia Chiereghin who received the compliments of the mayor of Albonese Andrea Bazzano who attended the awards ceremony. Congratulations that were extended to all the other teams for the spirit of great fair play that characterized the whole tournament, another fundamental aspect for the success of the event. “Without presumption, I can affirm once again that we are among the best organized amateur green volley tournaments in the area”, concludes the patron Nico Marseglia. «Numerous competitive athletes registered for other clubs have participated very willingly, consequently raising the level of the game. This is one of the reasons that will push us to turn our thoughts to the next edition with the aim of bringing more and more people to this event ». –
