Marco Mazzon (Run Athletic team) won in record time in the second edition of the “Stra Mathi” running event, over a distance of 6.8 kilometers.
The event was organized by the Mathi sports department and the Equilibra running team. The race was valid for the twenty-first Uisp running circuit in Canavese. Massive participation: three hundred athletes at the start. Behind Mazzon, who finished his race with a time of 21 ’42 ”, came the athlete from Cuceglio Michael Zagato (Cus Pro Patria Milano) who came with a delay of eighteen seconds. In third place Giulio Garello (Atletica Racconigi) with a first and twelve seconds. Then in the overall classification Claudio Cabodi of Cafasse at 1 ’16 “follows in the absolute classification, while Giampiero Chiocchi (Podistica Leini) is fifth at 1′ 30”. In the women’s field, the success went to Francesca Rimonda (Vigonechecorre) who finished twenty-ninth overall. He finished his performance with the final time of 25 ’50 ”, lowering the previous record of the 2019 Scidà; second in the women’s field Claudia Guiotto (Doratletica) came thirteen seconds late, third step of the podium for Nicol Cavallera of the Run Athletic team arrived at twenty-eight seconds.
In the women’s ranking, the fourth place was the prerogative of Federica Barailler (Cogne Aosta) while Daniela Panait (Giannone Running circuit) was fifth at 1 ’25 ”. Among the companies, the success went to Durbano gas Energy Rivarolo with 273 points which preceded the Podistica Bairese which obtained 270, third the organizing company of the Equilibra runnig team with 261, fourth the Cafasse with 160 and fifth the Olimpiatletica with 151. –
