Victory for the Pavia Tennis Club, draw for Selva Alta Vigevano: this is the balance of the first leg matches of the B1 and B2 tennis series play outs. The Pavese club of San Lanfranco puts a mortgage on the stay in B1, thanks to the clear success for 5-1 in San Benedetto del Tronto on the Circolo Maggioni. In singular victories for Alberto Cammarata’s Tc Pavia with the score of 6-2, 4-6, 6-4 over Edoardo Lamberti, the Bulgarian Alexandar Lazarov for 6-0, 6-2 over Davide Gabrielli and Andrea Lodigiani over Davide Melchior for 2-6, 7-5, 2-1 and retirement of the opponent. Defeated, however, Simone Cavalleri with a double 6-3 by Andrea Actress. The doubles at the Tennis Club with the Cavalleri-Valle couples on Valentini-Gabrielli (6-4, 6-3) and the Cammarata-Lazarov duo with an eloquent 6-1 6-1 on Actress-Lamberti.
Games still open
In B2, games are still very open between Selva Alta Vigevano and Tc Sardegna di Terracina after yesterday’s 3-3. However, the ducals will have the advantage of playing at home in a return match that promises to be very close. In a 2-2 tie the match after the two singles with Cameron to win the first point for the hosts due to the withdrawal of the Vigevano Enea Ribolini on 5-2 and the immediate draw of Selva Alta with Davide Dadda (6-1 , 6-0). Then Lorenzo Beraldo, beating Simone Sponticcia 6-4, 6-1 led the Vigevanesi to the provisional 2-1. Draw of Tc Sardegna with Giulio Vittorini (7-5, 6-1) on Simone Camposeo. A hard-fought double that won by the Lazio-based Russo-Sponticcia over Beraldo and Conti for 6-1, 1-6, 10-7. The point of the final 3-3 came from the Dadda-Camposeo couple who overcame the opponents Vittorini-Cameron 6-3, 6-4. –
