Five golds, three silvers and two bronzes is the booty achieved by the rowing company Candiese Canottieri Candia 2010 in the two days of competitions in Gavirate (Varese), Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 May.
Gold medals for Alessandro Serghei in the single test of the Cadet category, Simone Maschio among the B1 students and in the 4x Marta Bianco specialty on a mixed boat with the company of Orta. The other two gold medals still bear the signature of Alessandro Serghei, but in the doubles race together with Luca Cordera, always in the Cadets and in the 4x discipline of the Allievi C category with: Andrea Nuccio, Riccardo Lungu, Lorenzo Soncin and Samuele Morandi. Moving on to the silver medals, Luca and Lorenzo Belletti, Pietro Severina and Federico Monti in the 4x discipline of Allievi B2 have instead reached a good second place, while in the doubles tests Federico Monti still Pietro Severina second among the B2 students and the same result also for Andrea Nuccio and Riccardo Lungu instead in the Allievi C. As regards the bronzes, Luca Cordera won the podium in the Cadet category, while Luca and Lorenzo Belletti came in third place in the B2 students category. As for the Trophy of the Regions, representing Piedmont, the Candiese company crew composed of Alessandro Serghei, Luca Cordera, Andrea Nuccio and Riccardo Lungu finished fourth. –
