Tennis, the French Couacaud and the Australian Kokkinakis are the finalists of the Biella Challenger

An Australia-France final in Biella had been missing since 1998. Twenty-three years ago it was Andrew Ilie and Jean Baptiste Perlant who competed for the first historic Fila Challenger. Tomorrow (Saturday) at 11.30 am, on the central court in via Liguria, Thanasi Kokkinakis (198 Atp, with a background from number 69) and Enzo Couacaud (188) will compete for the title in Thindown Biella 6.

It took the Aussie two hours and 15 minutes to beat the Chinese Zhizhen Zhang, who was beaten with a score of 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. The transalpine, on the other hand, was right by the twenty-one year old Argentine Tomas Martin Etcheverry for 6-1, 5-7, 6-4.
